This master's thesis aims to analyze and bring closer together two worlds, one artificial and the other natural: the digital and the living. My desire was to build bridges and take an interest in the moments when the two hybridize, creating new forms of life. Investigating the notion of life, its associated vital processes, bioengineering, and biomimicry, in order to question the existence of these beings at the crossroads of dualities (natural/artificial, organic/mechanical, active/inert...). But also to question the place that life occupies in creation in the era of digital technology. In order to question the means used by designers and artists in their creative processes to generate life.
